What our advisers are saying about us
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the excellent service provided by all the Dover staff and also for the positive impact you have had on me and my practice.
I still have a long way to go in building my practice, but I am a lot better adviser now than when I first joined Dover three years ago. Your influence, guidance and wisdom has been invaluable to me.
It is a privilege to be a Dover Adviser.
Thanks you for the Reflections throughout the year.
I have loved reading them and have picked up many worthwhile “tips”.
Your articles on the risk profile and supporting explanation/conversation was pure gold.
So simple and yet so effective, adding only minutes to the process.
Made me feel quite stupid really (in a positive way J); you know that ah ha moment, followed by the “how come I didn’t think of that when it is so obvious?” moment.
The last remnants of the years of institutionalised education!!
I hope you have a lovely Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year.
Look forward to the your Reflections in 2016.
Once again thanks.
Thanks for all your help and support in 2016.
Our Dover “Women Who Lunch” group were discussing yesterday
what a great support you had been to all of us this year in the sometimes lonely world
of starting your own business.
I hope you and your family have a great Xmas.
Thanks for everything Peter, I must say everything and everyone at Dover involved in the on boarding of practices have been truly amazing. Very helpful and fast, looking forward to the years ahead.
Dover provides an old-fashioned service ethic combined with state of the art processes in a timely, and professional manner. The peace of mind of knowing that each of my SOA’s is checked by compliance – from a planning and legal perspective – is hard to beat. The refreshingly different weekly warts and all feedback from CEO (Terry) is something I have come to rely upon. I echo another Dover adviser that said: “my only complaint is that I never joined sooner”. I feel like I am part of something bigger than just a business…something better maybe. Something truly worthwhile.
We joined Dover in 2012.
Prior to this we ran our own AFSL for a year or so. Before that we were advisers of a major dealer group.
After discovering the ongoing obligations of running an AFSL were too onerous for a small business to manage we decided to hand back our licence and operate as advisers again.
Dover is a very professionally run and operated dealer group that is perfectly positioned for advisers looking to operate in a post FOFA world.
The back office resources are comprehensive. Through various outsourcing arrangements advisers can include SMSF, estate planning and personal tax returns with traditional financial planning service offerings.
Key staff members are accessible and a common sense approach to compliance and business issues makes life a lot easier.
We rate Dover very highly.
Dover allows me to do the right thing by my clients without feeling that I have to support specific platforms and funds. I get a lot of value from the legal document service (Legal Edocs). What’s more, Dover doesn’t charge an arm and a leg which improves the profitability of my business. I would recommend Dover to any adviser looking for a different licensee.
Do I feel good I am here ? Hell yes…
Common sense financial planning and great advise to clients – I actually feel like I can write business again and help my clients without fear of some Ogre over looking our every step…
Hi Terry, just wanted to thank you for a great training today.
I received a lot of value from the strategies that you shared (and all the case studies were very well presented)
Also it was a pleasure to have a chat with Florence again and to meet the rest of your team.
If you get a chance please acknowledge Amy Kellett as I was very impressed that she responded to an email I sent her yesterday (on a Sunday)
Not many employees (from other companies) would do this and I wasn’t expecting a reply back from her on a weekend.
Anyway, it’s a great example of going the extra mile.
